Square Roots Fest

The Square Roots Festival has been a staple in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood for over 25 years. Put on nearly every year by Old Town School of Folk Music and the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, the Fest celebrates a history of lively local music and great craft beer.

Working for the Old Town School, I created the theme for Square Roots 2024, taking inspiration from the lively music scene in Chicago and combining local and musical motifs to be used throughout every part of the festival. The project culminated in several deliverables, including a poster, social media posts, postcards, daily schedules, door hangers, food and drink passes, large banners, and various signage, which helped bring a whopping 37,200 guests to the fest.
